Job description:

  • Route will deliver loaded tankers from Brock, TX to metro processing facilities in Dallas/Fort Worth
  • 2-3 hour off-load times
  • Driver would return empty trailer to the drop yard in Brock
  • All routes are home daily
  • Responsible for managing the day-to-day duties of Brock operations
  • Responsible for implementing policies, programs, and procedures that are disseminated by the Director of Operations and Chief Executive Officer
  • Build and maintain working relationships with drivers, TRT management, and Western Dairy Transport managers
  • Schedule drivers to ensure routes are run in a timely and fuel-efficient manner
  • Facilitate the application of new driver and ongoing training of existing drivers
  • Investigate all accidents/incidents and complete company related forms
  • Maintain and encourage a positive attitude for all employees
  • Value the drivers and the work completed
  • Follow and maintain the culture and vision of the company
  • Driver will operate 2012 or newer leased equipment
  • Driver must arrive on time daily
  • Driver must inspect truck before, during, and after run for problems. Notify local operations manager of any issues
  • Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles
  • Report any delays (weather, traffic, breakdowns) that will interfere with on time arrival at facilities


  • Possess valid Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement
  • Current DOT medical certificate
  • Clean MVR
  • Ability to pass a federal background check
  • At least 25 years of age
  • At least two years of semi-truck driving experience
  • No DWIs or felonies
  • Ability to operate a 53-foot, 10-speed with a manual transmission
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
  • No more than two jobs in the last year and six jobs in the last three years


  • Days: Monday - Saturday
  • Times: Routes run from early morning to late morning/early afternoon, usually about 7-10 hours in length daily
