THIS IS A FULL-TIME TEMPORARY POSITION FOR OUR PEAK SEASON. (May be a possibility for full-time position, if available, after Peak Season is completed, but no guarantees)

Job description:

  • Route will detail shuttle run between postal facilities in the Austin area

  • Driver will operate 2012 or newer leased equipment

  • Driver must arrive on time daily

  • Driver must inspect truck before, during, and after run for problems. Notify local operations manager of any issues

  • Complete job daily within guidelines of company procedures and policies, as well as federal and state regulations of operating motor vehicles

  • Report any delays (weather, traffic, breakdowns) that will interfere with on time arrival at facilities

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess valid Class A CDL

  • Current DOT medical certificate

  • Clean MVR

  • Ability to pass a federal background check

  • 25 years of age

  • At least two years of experience operating a semi-truck with a Class A License

  • No felonies or DWIs

  • No more than two jobs in the last year and six jobs in the last three years

SCHEDULE:

  • 7 (Seven) days a week

  • There are three separate shifts:

    • One shift begins at approximately 11pm

    • One shift begins at approximately 7am

    • One shift begins at approximately 3pm

    • Shifts will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Compensation:

  • $26.00/hour
